This video is a re-enactment of my discussion with my parents as I tell them about my videos on YouTube. Yes they really did say these things! Some extras were added to keep the flow going but I would borrow from things they have said in the past. My mom truly forgot how to scroll so that she could see the entire video window, so she wondered why my head was cut off. My dad truly wants me to do something serious, in fact he suggested that I “re-enact 9/11″. I asked him how in the world would I be able to re-enact 9/11 from my bedroom? He just said I should act like the wives of 9/11. Needless to say, I left that thought where it was. The pork rinds that you see the dad character eating is his typical snack, and although he wasn’t actually eating them while he was on the phone, I thought it would be funny to mix that with the “drama request” he was making. Yes, he really did tell me to do something to stir people’s emotions. I actually had a visual in that moment of me stirring up stuff in a pot, and attempted to re-create that thought in the video. I’m writing this entry almost a month after my first video - and my mom STILL can’t seem to register successfully with YouTube.
