Since many were writing in and asking me where I get my ideas, I decided to record a vlog about it. I mean really, I don’t want to take credit for these video ideas… Give credit where credit is due. The IDEA factory deserves some recognition after all. I bought in bulk because (and I failed to mention this in the video) you get $5 off for every 20 stars that you buy. hahaha but srsly… I would have to say that this vid has been the toughest to prep for - out of all of them so far. Lugging all the props and camera to the top of this building was harder than I thought it was going to be! I borrowed a kitchen stool plus cooler (that served as the table). I thought I had all the props, but as my frozen fingers were placing the stars onto the wrinkled tablecloth – I realized I was missing the glow in the dark stars as well as one blue star. Great one. As I was going back and forth – the door shut at one point and couldn’t be opened. I knew it! Disssasssterrr…. I was afraid that instead of “HappySlip” I’d be “FrozenSlip” in a few hours. How strange the sight must have been for any onlookers. To see this lil Filipina in a Michelin man coat ramming into the door repeatedly to make it open. I turned into a battering ram for oh about 15 frustrating moments. It was SOOO cold that my toes were still frozen two hours after I was done recording. Perhaps I should have worn actual shoes instead of those blue Chinese slippers.
