Here’s a look into the making of Contagious. As I said before, it was difficult to concentrate on all the details with all the aunties and uncles staring and laughing during the recording. hahaa I had to think of the camera angles, the lighting, direct myself, and the others. To get the vision that is in my head - properly recorded and edited is harder than one would think.I showed up to a youth meeting and after it was over– I announced “if you stay on this side of the room, then I’m assuming you don’t mind being in a HappySlip video and all over the internet” Too bad I couldn’t force different ethnicities to participate - cause I realize that everyone is filipino in the video! hahha The others were either too shy or else found it more interesting to watch the whole process. I tried to get the volunteers outta their chairs to dance but I suppose Fred was the only one that was daring enough to do that!
